Okay so Mad Max is exactly the kind of game the Deck was made for. It’s a big, sprawling wasteland you chip away at one outpost and one car upgrade at a time, which means it slots perfectly into a “just one more camp” session on the couch or in bed. It was built for a controller from the ground up, so the driving and the brawler combat both feel completely natural in the hands with no faffing about with keybinds. The burnt-orange desert looks gorgeous on the little screen, all that dust and sun glare really pops. Suspend and resume means you can drop it mid-convoy-chase and pick it straight back up later.
