Eastward
Welcome to the charming world of Eastward - population declining! Journey through a society on the brink of collapse. Discover delightful towns, strange creatures and even stranger people! Wield a trusty frying pan and mystic powers on an adventure into the unknown…
Why on Deck
Eastward is a cosy post-apocalyptic adventure with pixel art so rich and detailed it looks like a painting on the Deck’s screen. You are playing as a taciturn underground worker and a cheerful little girl named Sam, travelling through crumbling towns and strange wilderness, and the whole thing has this warm, melancholy vibe that is just perfect for a rainy evening on the couch. The combat is light and accessible, the towns are full of little things to discover, and the story unfolds at a relaxed pace that never feels rushed. It’s not a long game by RPG standards, which makes it ideal for squeezing in over a couple of weeks of evening sessions.
