Why on Deck
Darkest Dungeon II trades the dungeon crawl for a road trip across a decaying landscape, and that journey structure suits handheld play surprisingly well. Each inn stop is a natural pause point; the stagecoach segments between them are compact and tense. The fully 3D visuals are a big leap from the original and the Deck handles them fine. And if you bounced off the sequel on PC, give it another shot here. The session-based structure makes the punishing difficulty easier to pace.
