Why on Deck
This is the game that made the Steam Deck’s library make sense to me. Runs take 25–45 minutes. You die, the story moves forward anyway. The action is tight enough on the sticks that you feel genuinely in control, not fighting the hardware. And Supergiant’s art direction just pops at 800p in a way I didn’t expect. Every session ends with you lining up one more run. It’s that simple.
