Why on Deck
The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is the roguelike that all other roguelikes are measured against, and it’s been living rent-free on my Deck for years. Runs are short enough to squeeze in anywhere. But the depth (especially once you factor in all the DLC) is genuinely bottomless. The twin-stick layout feels exactly right, the pixelated aesthetic looks great on a smaller screen, and it’s just… always there when you want it. You’ll install it and never fully uninstall it.
