Why on Deck
One of the best deckbuilders ever made. It takes a few minutes to get used to the vertical battlefield on a horizontal screen, but once it clicks, the spatial puzzle of it takes over and you won’t want to stop. Runs are 45–60 minutes. The clan combination system keeps revealing new synergies 40 hours in. It’s marked Playable rather than Verified because of some small UI, but everything’s readable and the controls map well. If Slay the Spire never grabbed you, try this: the defensive, positional nature of it hits completely differently.
