Why on Deck
Haste is pure arcade flow. You commit to a landing angle, nail the momentum window, and the whole universe rips past in a blur. That kind of twitchy, one-input-at-a-time runner is a natural controller game, and the short procedural runs are perfect for portable play (“one more shard” is a dangerous sentence when you’re in bed). The colourful low-poly aesthetic pops on the Deck’s screen without demanding the earth from the GPU, and you can drop in for five minutes or burn an hour without the game caring either way. Honestly, this is the kind of game the Deck was built for.
