What is this?

Get This On Your Deck is a subjective list of games that I, personally, feel are superb experiences on the Steam Deck. They are excellent games, run well, offer experiences designed or tailored for the Deck, and in some cases their experience is elevated by the Deck.

Every game here has been played on the Deck. This isn't a list generated from compatibility reports or review scores - it's a personal recommendation from someone who uses the Deck daily. In a way, this is just a public library of the games I own and play.

Because of the Deck's form factor and performance, the games listed here will naturally skew towards more small-scale platformers, roguelikes, deckbuilders, and indie games rather than big 3D action games.

I can't afford to buy every game for Deck, so I may not have played the game yet.

If I have then I probably feel like it doesn't belongs here. An example is Elden Ring - an amazing game that does run on Deck, but it's best suited for a PC/console experience.

Sure, if I end up playing it and it meets the criteria for this list.

• Deck Verified, or Playable doesn't include small text or mouse controls.
• Runs well, at 45 fps minimum without wild fluctuations or frame pacing. Sorry, 30 fps doesn't cut it.
• Very Positive or Overwhelmingly Positive user scores will generally get me to consider buying. Mostly Positive could mean it's quite niche and isn't always an indicator of Deck-quality.
• Is it fun? The game's gotta be a banger.

Since this is a personal list, I reserve the right to make exceptions to these guidelines for truly exceptional cases.
