Why on Deck

Rain World is not an easy game to love, but once it clicks it’s unlike anything else. You’re a tiny slugcat in a massive, hostile ecosystem where everything is trying to eat you and the rain will kill you if you don’t find shelter. It’s tense, it’s atmospheric, and the procedural creature AI means every encounter feels genuinely unpredictable. The pixel art is hauntingly beautiful on the Deck’s screen, and the intimate handheld format makes the world feel more claustrophobic and dangerous. Play it in a dark room with headphones. Trust me.
