This is the best beat ‘em up in years and it plays like a dream on the Deck. The pixel art from Tribute Games is gorgeous at native resolution, the combat feels punchy and responsive on the sticks, and levels are short enough that you can smash through one or two on a bus ride. It has a native Linux build so there’s zero Proton overhead, and local co-op works if you dock it and grab extra controllers. Honestly this is one of those games that just feels right in your hands.
