Why on Deck
Ghostrunner 2 keeps the one-hit katana parkour loop that made the first one sing and adds motorbike chase sequences and bigger boss fights. The core appeal stays the same on Deck: precision platforming combat that rewards reading patterns and reacting instantly, which a controller handles better than mouse and keyboard (fight me). The synthwave soundtrack with headphones in handheld mode is basically the ideal way to experience the game. It does ask more of the hardware than the first game though, so expect to make some compromises.
